I dread the day when MGM thinks it's a good idea to release this film more widely. It would be interesting to see how they gloss over it's various atrocities though.

Packaging... luxury.... direction
A further symptom of my madness, I made dvd packaging of both "Letty Lynton" and "Torch Song". I am filth.

And the atrocity of race relations that is Torch Song!
The only people that will ever watch this film are Joan Crawford fans and they will be aware of the notorious musical number performed in blackface. Amongst is many horrors (bullying of blind people, use of yellowface, crass materialism). Most disturbingly of all, the use of blackface seems to be something that the studio was proud of:
This film was made in 1953.

The first in an unending series of similar... things.

Two etchings
Two etchings. Both were attempted for my Dad, the first one failed (but I still like it), the second one worked better. He likes Bruce Springsteen.

The Eternal Female
A collage of JOAN Crawford in "Torch Song", her greatest, most offensive film. Watch it and be obliterated by her bullying, empty materialism and propagation of race hate.

JOAN etching.
Any attempt to portray JOAN Crawford in a medium that doesn't require the usage of fire and acid is a pointless endeavour.
